Affiliate Marketing Revised

You’re dead wrong if you think you know anything about being an affiliate. Everything you’ve been taught is simply out of date. You need to adapt and change or perish.

The big lie

Unfortunately, you’ve been led to believe affiliate marketing is easy. And it is – sort of. It’s far easier that developing, selling and supporting your own product. But that doesn’t mean it’s easy.

The cold hard truth

And to make matters worse, you’ve taught to do it the hard way. The first thing you’re taught is to pick some great products. Next do some keyword research. Then buy some keyword ads that send traffic to the product. And finally get a fat check for all the sales. But this just won’t work!

Forget keywords

There was a time when this worked. But keywords are too expensive now. Adapt and change…

The NEW game

There is a solution to this problem. Here’s how to win at this game.

  • Start using CPA marketing
  • Instead of researching keywords, research demographics
  • Do image ad marketing

Get into CPA marketing

CPA means Cost Per Action. It’s so much easier than promoting products. Because it doesn’t involve payment. Your commission is generated when they complete an “action”. Such as filling in a form. And getting them to do this is so much easier.

Utilize demographics data

Keywords are no longer relevant (you’ll see in a minute). Invest your research time into demographics. First you select your CPA offer. Then hop over to Quantcast.com. And discover the exact demographics of your ideal prospect.

Use image ads

Now you have your offer and your demographics. You can target these exact demographics on display networks. Using image ads. And there was no keyword research required. And you’ll save a fortune. Display networks charge a fraction for image ad clicks vs. keyword ads.

Summing it up

This is truly a quick cash concept. Because you can start CPA marketing for free. You can buy image ad clicks for a fraction of keyword ad clicks. Display networks let you do demographics targeting. And you get paid for having them take a simple action.

7 reasons why you MUST have your own info product

Think about this: What is the number one reason people get online everyday? The answer is simple – they’re looking for information. Google alone serves up 400 million searches per day! Why should you care? This quest for information is an opportunity for you to fill a need. And to earn some cash for doing it!

Info marketing explained

First of all, an info business is the least complex business possible. You develop a product that is nothing more than information. And then sell it to people who want to learn the info in it. Pretty simple, wouldn’t you say?

How do you make it work?

We’ve established that it’s a simple concept. But to make it a successful business there has to be value in the info you’re selling. So step one is to discover what kind of info people want. How can you find out what people want?

A super simple trick is to just to check “answer” sites. Visit answers.yahoo.com or similar sites and look at the questions being asked there. You want to find something a lot of people are asking about. Something that most people don’t already know. And solve the problem for them by writing an info product on it.

Think about this:

If you’re concerned about information product development Think about this: An info product is just a bunch of articles strung together. Don’t try to write a whole ebook. Focus on one article at a time. And when you have a collection, expand and embellish them and put them together into an ebook.

Why info products? Funny you should ask . . . How about 7 reasons why:

1. Simplicity

Once it’s built it runs pretty much on it’s own. There is almost no support. Which means there nothing for you to actually *do*. It really is like and automatic money machine.

There’s no inventory. You don’t have to ship anything. It’s digital.

2. Repurposing

Once you have a few info products created. You can combine them together to create new high ticket products. It’s very easy to package multiple ebooks together as one new one. And you’ll be able to charge much more for this “new” product. There’s greater perceived value in a single big course. Versus multiple smaller ones.

3. Private label right

You can grant other people resell rights to your own products. This is a very popular topic right now, because most people simply don’t have the time, money and effort it takes to create their own products. And the best part is you can charge double, even triple your selling price for resell rights!

4. Leverage

Leverage your ebook by using the content in different ways. Break it apart and create a multi-part email series with it. And build your list with it. A list is it’s own reward!

5. More leverage

Utilize your content in as many ways as you can – like creating a few reports from parts of the ebook. Then use these to generate leads for the main product. You can make these low cost or even free. Either way, you win because you’re feeding your funnel. Taking this technique to the max, you can let your affiliate give the reports away for you. Affiliate, you say? Yes!

6. An army of affiliates

This is one of the biggest reasons of all. If you’ve got products you own. You’re able to let other people market it for you. Imagine having 100’s or 1000’s of other people promoting your products. You’ve got to have your own products to have affiliates.

7. JVs

OK, this is by far the biggest reason why. Setting up joint ventures is the fastest way to gain success. Period. So, I’d say this is the most important reason to have you own products. No products of your own = no way to do joint ventures.

In closing

If you can’t see the power of info product marketing, then you’ve probably been sleeping. With your own info product you can write your own ticket. Because it’s your business and you control it. So, don’t waste any more time:

  • Head over to Yahoo! answers
  • Find out what people need to know
  • Write about the answers

Don’t make info product creation any more complicated than that. And in no time you’ll have an info product ready to go.

Using Web Audio for Success

It’s undeniable that if you add audio to websites it will increase your results. If you’re not using audio on your sites, you’re making a mistake. Audio increases opt-ins. Audio increases sales.

Why does it work?

It’s simple. Most of the web is cold and impersonal. It adds a human touch to your site. And adds the feel of a real live person. Basically, audio brings your site to life. And this aliveness creates more interaction with your visitors.

Some more benefits

You’ll receive two immediate benefits to your bottom line when you employ the use of audio. You’ll convert more visitors into buyers. And you’ll spend less getting those customers. You see, you’ll be able to skip the expensive copywriter. Simply record an audio message yourself. Your visitors will respond better to a heart-felt message from you than some fancy copywriting.

And you will increase your subscriber opt-in rate. Most people need to be led by the hand. Just add a short audio message saying: Fill in your name and email and click submit. Just this one simple thing will boost opt-ins up to 315%!

How to use website audio

Add a welcome to my site message on your main page. A warm welcome can be the deciding factor. Grabbing their attention like this helps you keep them on your site.

Lead them by the had. Just like in the opt-in example. Use an audio message to lead your visitors through a process. And take them all the way through buying your product.

Get testimonials for your services and products. A written testimonial is good. But audio testimonials are great! It’s pretty easy to fake a written testimonial. Audio adds a level of higher believability. And that increases your results.

Sneaky tick

What about creating an entire product using audio? This is by far the easiest content to produce. And it still has a high perceived value. The great thing about audio products is people can take them with them on the go. Plus you can get them transcribed cheap. Then you’ve got an eBook, too – but it was easy to create!

Is adding audio hard?

It’s not hard at all. There’s software that will show you how to add audio to a website. You don’t actually have to do anything yourself. The program records and then converts the recording and generates an audio button. You just copy and paste into your website. There’s nothing to worry about.

Summing it up

Just a reminder of why you want to start using audio. Using website audio will increase your conversion rates. No doubt your sales will go up. You’ll get more subscribers. And don’t forget that you can easily create sales pages and products in a flash. No many people are doing this. But you’ll save a lot of time and money. Get started right now and realize instant results.
